With a 2007 population of 1,620,867 in a land area of 22.96 square miles (59.47 kmē), it is the most densely populated county in the United States at 70,595 residents per square mile (27,267/kmē). It is also the wealthiest county in the United States, with a 2005 personal per capita income above $100,000.[2] The borough consists of Manhattan Island, Roosevelt Island, Randalls Island, almost one-tenth of Ellis Island,[3] the above-water portion of Liberty Island, several much smaller islands, and a small section on the mainland of New York State adjacent to the Bronx.

Queens New York The Unisphere is a 12-story high, spherical stainless steel representation of the Earth, located in Flushing Meadows Park.Designed by landscape architect Gilmore D. Clarke, the Unisphere was donated by the United States Steel (USS) Corporation and constructed by USS's American Bridge Division. It is 140 feet high and weighs 700,000 pounds. The base is an 100-ton inverted tripod. The diameter of the sphere itself is 120 feet, or 36.57 meters. It is constructed of Type 304L Stainless Steel.Queens is the largest in area and the second most populous of the five boroughs of New York City, New York, USA. The borough has the same boundary as Queens County
